MD Thompson wanted to sell their products online across multiple websites, their current ERP provided a very basic ordering portal for customers, but they wanted more customistion and more control. What they needed was something that could upload their products to an e-commerce website (trade portal), but there's a catch. They needed their unique customer discounts (wholesale discounts) to be synced to each account on that portal so customers could place orders at their unique price. And all of this needed to happen while ensuring their network remained completley secure since they accept card payments via their tills.
We built a custom web-app, database sync, and local order puller, which synced products, customers, and discounts to their custom trade portal (which we also built) in real-time. In the dashboard, employees can see all the stock, customers, and connected websites. They can select which stock should be uploaded to what website, create new trade portal accounts, and manage website connection. This allowed them to upload their over 70,000 products to their traide portal in minutes, and thousands of niche products to seperate niche websites also in minutes, which are all kept up to date in real-time. And all the orders from each website are automatically pushed back into their ERP. Meaning they never need to worry about each website, they just watch the dashboard and everything is handled automatically for them.
